Phalki Festival Pandharapur
Devotees of Lord Vitthal in Palkhi Festival playing cultural sports in order to please the Lord by chanting his name while playing. Devotees walk to Pandharapur from Alandi, barefoot as they play, sing and dance on their way. I was very lucky to get this shot to freeze their enthusiasm in pleasing the lord by playing such types of games on the way to Pandharapur, in Maharashtra.
