Milford Sound
Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand's South Island within Fiordland National Park, Piopiotahi Marine Reserve, and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site. As a fiord, Milford Sound was formed by a process of glaciation over millions of years. I was lucky to have decent weather conditions during the visit, as Milford Sound is known as the wettest inhabited place in New Zealand and it rains there on average 182 days a year.
