An Afternoon Drink
An Indian Rhinoceros catches a quick drink at a waterhole outside the protected area. Waterholes constitute one of the most important components of the habitat of rhino and other big mammals. Rhinos graze for a large part of the day and need to drink intermittently. When water starts drying up in late winter, water remaining in nearby waterholes is the easiest drinking option for rhinos.
