THE DARK AND THE DEAD
The picture was taken in the Sundarbans national park. I started my boat safari on a winter morning and saw a Pond Heron sitting inside the canal. Suddenly the Changeable Hawk (dark morph) jumped on him and killed him and sat on the branches of a tree enjoying the big meal. The raptor's cunningness to kill and the camouflage made the story for me.
