Night Moves
It is a Phantom crane fly hanging to stem and continuously making repeated movements in air.Why they are called “phantom†crane flies: Their legs are thin and black with white sheaths near the tips, and when they fly under a shady tree, everything disappears except the white spots, appearing and disappearing like a “phantomâ€.I wanted to portray its movement at night hence, I used torch as a continuos light source and a 2nd curtain flash fired at the end of the exposure to freeze Insect.
